Easy Croissants

Friday I wanted to make croissants and was looking for an easy recipe.  I found this one.  It was a cheat recipe. really easy to make.  I made them and filled them with shredded chicken, bbq sauce and cheese.  Wesley really liked them.  I didn't take any pictures.  :(

I took a picture on Sunday night of the plain ones.
and also of the ones with chocolate.

  2. If you take the dough and fold it a few times (like you would fold normal croissants) they are better. The other thing that you absolutely need to do is, let them rise at room temperature. If it's too warm the butter melts out and they aren't flakey at all.

  3. I especially like that you can bake just a few of them and leave the rest of the dough in the fridge for a day or two. Oh, yeah, make them twice the size that the recipe says. They are tiny otherwise.
